Quarantine Flowers

No one wants to stay home.  I miss the small things in life, like not waiting in line to get into Target, going out to lunch, and attending a live show downtown.

I miss seeing friends, taking classes, and sketching outdoors.

On the bright side, not being able to work has opened lots of time for painting and an opportunity to study with a master painter I have been following on Zoom.

I have been painting mostly flowers recently. They cheer me up and make a bit of my quarantine blossom.

I am a loose painter who is trying to become even looser.

I splash, I mix pigments wet on wet and love the surprises, and even blow paint with a straw.

Here are a few of my new flowers. I hope they will cheer up your quarantine as well.

If you are interested in any of my flowers information is on the website under Still Life or please contact me.
